The Animal Control Department can be reached at 597-1000 EXT. 8525. Hours of operation are 8:30AM –4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Emergency on call at 597-8581, 24 hours, 7 days. Chief Michael Melchionne, Animal Cruelty Investigator , David Archer - Animal Control officer, Neil McCallum - Assistant Animal Control officer.

Be aware of the impact your pet has on your neighbor. Treat your animals with the care and love they deserve. Animals kept outside MUST have shelter provided. Always provide fresh water for your animals 24 hours a day.
ANIMAL DAMAGE PREVENTION CHECK LIST
- Cap your chimney.
- Repair all damage to your home or building. Don’t encourage wildlife to get a foothold.
- Cover all trash containers
- Don’t let debris accumulate.
- Don’t feed domestic pets outside.
Rabies Vaccinations
Free rabies vaccinations given every other Wednesday.
