The Final 2008/Preliminary 2009 tax bills were mailed September 5, 2008 and payments are due as follows:
2008 Fourth Quarter - Due November 1, 2008
2009 First Quarter - Due February 1, 2009
2009 Second Quarter - Due May 1, 2009
If you are going to receive an added assessment tax bill, they will be mailed in October and the due dates are the same as listed above. You will be paying on two bills for the next three quarters.
Every quarter has a ten-day grace period. Payments must be received by the 10th to avoid interest.
The 2007 tax rate was 1.709 per hundred.
The 2008 tax rate is 1.763 per hundred.
