Detectors
Two of the most important safety devices for the home are smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. When working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are present your chances of surviving an incident in your home double.
The Stafford Township Bureau of Fire Prevention understands that senior citizens may not be able to afford, test or change the battery in their Smoke or Carbon Monoxide detectors, therefore that service is provided for you.
If you are not sure that your detectors are in proper working order or if you have a detector but need it installed please call to schedule an appointment with one of our inspectors. It will be the responsibility of the homeowners to make the appropriate purchase. You must be the owner and occupying the dwelling at the time of the appointment.
To schedule an appointment with one of our Inspectors please call 609-597-1000 ext. 8527 or 8617, or
email Christopher Freeman.
