Kids in the Kitchen Class (Ages 2.5 - 5)

This class will run for 6 sessions beginning the week of February 10 and center around the themes of Winter events and early Spring. Classes will allow children in this age group to expand their social, motor and creativity skills through cooking. These classes will explore many different and creative recipes that require little or no heat from an oven. Recipes will be based on the seasons. Children will also create their own keepsake aprons and cookbooks. A parent or guardian is required to stay with their child for the duration of these 1-hour classes.

Monday: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. - Noon
Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. - Noon
Friday: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Arts & Crafts Class (Ages 2.5 - 5)

This class will run for 6 sessions beginning the week of February 10 and center around the themes of Winter events and early Spring. Classes will allow children in this age group to expand their social, motor and creativity skills.These classes will be based upon arts and craft projects and stories. Classes will center on the seasons. Classes will also include games, snacks, music, poems and free play. A make your own smock is included. A parent or guardian is required to stay with their child for the duration of these 1-hour classes. Classes held at the Jennings Road Recreation Center, 385 Jennings Road in Manahawkin.

Playgroup (Ages Birth - 5)

 

Playgroup has been postponed until further notice. It will resume when it is safe to do so. 
  
Playgroup is offered on Thursdays from 10 am - 12 Noon.

A great way to make new friends and meet your neighbors! Mothers, fathers, infants and toddlers are invited to participate in this weekly, ongoing open play program. Toys, musical instruments, games, crayons and other fun things are provided for your child’s enjoyment. This program is provided for parents and children to get together to socialize and make new friends.
