December 2015 - SBA announced the reopening of the filing period for survivors (PDF) in all states affected by Superstorm Sandy to apply for low-interest disaster loans. View Disaster Loan Outreach Center locations (PDF).

The page contains information on our local flood hazard, the new FEMA flood maps, FEMA and State documents about rebuilding and recovery and links to various Federal and State websites.

If FEMA has identified you as having been affected by Hurricane Sandy and you OWN your home (you make a monthly mortgage payment, or you own your home 'free and clear'), but you're experiencing financial hardship for one of the specific reasons listed above, Modest Needs' Hurricane Relief Grant may be able to help you, and we'd encourage you to apply for a Hurricane Relief grant.
