The Envirnonmental Commission would like to announce, due to Covid restrictions, we are cutting back from the traditional Arbor Day Celebration. In lieu of the children participating in the poem, essay and poster competitions we are having an Arbor Day Scavenger Hunt that will consist of identifying native plants of Stafford Township. All that complete the hunt will be entered into a random drawing to win 1 of 20 $50 gift cards to be drawn at the Environmental Commission meeting on May 2, 2022. In addition to the gift cards, we will have trees and seedlings available to be given out at our table at the Arbor Day/Green Fair event being held April 29, 2022 from 12-4 P.M. We hope you join us for that event as well.
The program this year is based on the theme: "NATIVE PLANTS".
We sincerely hope that you will join us on April 29, 2022 for the Arbor Day/Green Fair event held at Heritage Park and help share in the pride our children have for our town’s environment.
