Mayor Henken and the Stafford Township Council are proud to welcome Save Barnegat Bay’s Annual Meeting to the Stafford Municipal Complex (260 East Bay Ave, Manahawkin, NJ) on Thursday, August 14th, 2025 at 6:30 PM – and we invite our entire community to join us for this inspiring evening!
Every year, Save Barnegat Bay hosts this special event to share updates on the incredible work being done to protect and restore our beloved Bay. This year’s meeting is packed with exciting news, expert insights, and stories of real environmental impact – including one major Stafford success story that stands out statewide!

🔹 Hear directly from local oyster farmers about their work and how it strengthens our shore economy
🔹 Meet the Forsythe Wildlife Refuge Manager and learn how protected natural spaces are thriving
🔹 Celebrate Stafford Township’s leadership as the only town to successfully clean and re-open 180 acres of the Bay once closed due to pollution – now stable and flourishing!
