Stafford Township will be participating in the Multi-Jurisdictional Program for Public Information (MJPPI) that Long Beach Township, Beach Haven, Ship Bottom, Surf City, Harvey Cedars, and Barnegat Light formed. The MJPPI is a way to help inform the public about the Community Rating System (CRS) program, which relates to points in that program. Currently the Township is rated as a Class 5 CRS Community which relates to a 25% premium reduction for Special Flood Hazard Area properties that have National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) flood insurance in the Township. By participating in the MJPPI, this is an additional opportunity to inform the public but also see added points in the Township’s CRS program.
