Stafford Township, NJ – On August 4, 2024, at approximately 2:15 PM, Jessica Florio (50 years old of Cook Road, Manahawkin) was placed under arrest for stealing approximately $228 of merchandise from Target in Manahawkin.  Further investigation revealed Florio had shoplifted from Target six additional times between the months of July and August totaling approximately $200 of additional stolen merchandise by way of skip scanning and concealing merchandise. Florio was arrested again on August 7th for the additional shoplifting incidents.  She was charged with a total of seven counts of of Shoplifting 2C:20-11B(1), and released with criminal complaint summonses to appear in Ocean County Superior Court and Stafford Township Municipal Court.  The arresting Officer was Patrolman James Knoeller.
