Stafford Township, NJ – On March 28th, at approximately 4:00 PM,  53-year-old male Rudolf J. Kohl of Kadlubeck Way in Little Egg Harbor was placed under arrest for stealing approximately $50 dollars of merchandise from Best Buy located at 215 Stafford Park Blvd in Manahawkin. A search incident to arrest revealed methamphetamine in Kohl's pants pocket. A subsequent search of Kohl's vehicle revealed additional methamphetamine, which was located where his passenger, 48-year-old female Christine Ingelsby of Little Egg Harbor, was seated. 

Kohl was transported to police headquarters and charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11 and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance 2C:35-10A(1). Kohl was released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court. Ingelsby was transported to police headquarters, charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, 2C:35-10A(1), and transported to Ocean County Jail after processing was complete. 

Detective Jackman Bush was the arresting officer.
