Stafford Township, NJ – June 4, 2024 – At approximately 6:47 A.M. hours, Stafford Police Communications received a report via 9-1-1 of a stolen 2023 black Ford Explorer from a residence on Sugar Hill Road in Manahawkin. The vehicle was later located abandoned in Atlantic City. After a thorough investigation by the Stafford Township Police Detective Bureau, Keith Press, age 21 of Atlantic City, was identified as the suspect who stole the vehicle.  A warrant was issued for his arrest and on the morning of June 6th, Wildwood Police located Press and placed him under arrest. He was transported to Stafford Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and was then lodged in the Ocean County Jail.  Press was charged with 2C:20-10.1A Theft of  Motor Vehicle.  Det. John Reed was the investigating officer.
