Stafford Township, NJ – On July 27, 2024, at approximately 11:25  AM, Maria G. Guarini (26 years old of Crows Nest Road, Manahawkin, NJ) was placed under arrest at her residence for stealing approximately $473 of merchandise from Target located at 209 Stafford Park Boulevard in Manahawkin over a series of seven incidents between February and June of 2024.  Guarini was witnessed failing to scan numerous items at the self check out registers each incident. Guarini was transported to police headquarters, charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11, and released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court.  Officer Nicholas Fabrizzio was the arresting officer.
