Stafford Township, NJ - On Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, the Stafford Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) concluded a several month-long narcotics investigation which led to the arrests of 33 year old Leonardo L. Mesa and 49 year old Eulalia A. Andrade, both of Betty Drive in Manahawkin, NJ. Prior to Mesa’s and Andrade’s arrest, the investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant at a residence on Betty Drive in Beach Haven West.
As a result of the search warrant execution, Mesa and Andrade were found to be possession of cocaine, numerous types of packaging material, drug paraphernalia, and a substantial amount of U.S. currency.
Ultimately, Mesa and Andrade were charged with 2C:35-5b(2) possession with intent to distribute cocaine, 2C:35-10(1) possession of cocaine, and 8 counts of 2C:36:-2a drug paraphernalia. After being processed at Stafford Township Police Department, Mesa and Andrade were issued on a complaint summons and released with a future court appearance scheduled at Ocean County Superior Court.
