Stafford Animal Control Officers and Humane Law Enforcement Officers are required to be on call to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Jurisdiction
Stafford Animal Control not only provides Animal Control services to Stafford Township, but provides Animal Control services through inter-local agreements to 5 municipalities on Long Beach Island. They include Barnegat Light, Ship Bottom, Beach Haven, Harvey Cedars and Long Beach Township.
This jurisdiction encompasses the area from Warren Grove out on Route 539, to Barnegat Light, down to Holgate.
