[ARCHIVED] Accreditation Team Invites Public Comment

policepatch206

The Stafford Township Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of the accreditation process through the New Jersey Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission, which is administered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.  Successful completion of the process will also result in recognition from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission.

The accreditation program requires agencies to comply with standards that represent the best practices in Law Enforcement.  The accreditation process is rigorous and includes a close examination of the agency’s written directive system, operation, and facility.

As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments to the accreditation assessors assigned to the on-site assessment by calling (609) 597-1189 ext. 8232 on Monday October 19, 2020 between 9:30 and 10:30 AM.  Telephone comments are limited to five minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with the accreditation standards.

Anyone wishing to offer written comments about the Stafford Township Police Department’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation is requested to email the Accreditation Program Director at hdelgado@njsacop.org or write the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission at 751 Route 73 North, Suite 12 Marlton, N.J. 08053.
