On Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, at 11:22 PM, Officers in the Stafford Township Police Department along with Stafford Township Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to 1295 Ridge Avenue in Manahawkin, N..J. in reference to a structure fire.

 Upon arrival, smoke and flames were observed coming from the side of the residence. Police immediately evacuated the residence, and surrounding homes before the residence became fully engulfed.

 The Stafford Township Fire Department quickly deployed hose lines, and shortly thereafter, the fire was extinguished. There were no injuries reported, and there are no photos available. 

 This incident is currently under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshall's Office, and the Stafford Township Bureau of Fire Prevention.
